Jake Gustafson, CEO and owner of ViaRx Patient Care Pharmacy, has been leading the company since 2022 with a passion for management efficiency and operational excellence. An Omaha native, Jake graduated from Creighton Prep High School before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Nebraska. With a keen eye for analytics and data, Jake thrives on optimizing the pharmacy experience, ensuring seamless operations while fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and community partners. His favorite part of the job? The personal connections—whether it’s a prescription fill, a phone call, a delivery, or a friendly conversation at the window, he values the care that goes into every interaction. Outside of work, Jake is a dedicated husband and proud father of two. He enjoys skiing, mountain biking, traveling, live music, and cheering on Creighton basketball.

Kristy Gustafson, a native of Hastings, Nebraska, has dedicated her career to education, business, and patient care. She earned her B.A. in Special Education and Adaptive Education K-12 from Hastings College and began her professional journey teaching Special Education and Adapted PE in the Hastings Public Schools. In 1994, Kristy relocated to Omaha, Nebraska, where she became co-owner of Lawless Distributing, later known as Quality Brands of Omaha. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to the healthcare industry, where she co-founded ViaRx Patient Care Pharmacy, a company dedicated to innovative and patient-centered pharmacy services. Kristy is a proud mother of four and a devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren. She continues her passion for business and healthcare as the co-owner of ViaRx, working alongside her son, Jake Gustafson.

Charles, the Pharmacist in Charge at ViaRx since its inception, brings over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, retail, and long-term care pharmacy settings. A graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center with high honors in 1998, Charles was born and raised in Omaha, where he continues to reside with his wife and their three children. Beyond pharmacy, he enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally, outdoor activities, humor, and exploring history—particularly American, Medieval, and Ancient history. He also has a passion for classic American steam and streamlined trains.
